Under the Dark Super Moon of Midsummer we will weave indigenous medicine that is part of the cultural story of the British Isles:
The transmutation ritual known as the Beheading game in celebration of all life and the coming of the Green. From Gawain and the Green Knight, Briccru’s Feast, Katie Crackernuts and the Shee an Gannon & the Grugach Gaire we find the threads of our own medicine way:
The powerful transformative ritual of Beheading. This is a profound journey of shamanic healing on a personal and planetary level. Most indigenous cultures have a transmutation ritual whereby the shaman ingest suffering and transmutes this energy for healing. This is a gathering for those who are committed to their own healing path and to the healing of all beings. This is a full on participatory gathering to support life, it is not a teaching course for people to go out and lead this ritual. This journey is for those who have a sincere desire to expand their own horizons weaving in the shamanic world exploring the indigenous medicine of the ‘Celtic’ Isles.

Northumbria is a betwixt and between land. It is named as part of England and yet it is north of Hadrian’s Wall and part of old Caledonia. Having spent many a night and day in this magical part of the world I can attest to it feeling like neither Scotland nor England, it really is an in the ‘gloaming’ place. Add in Lindisfarne, the Holy Isle and the beach and we have triple betwixt and between gatherings.
The cost of your participation is £175 early bird paid in full by April 1st 2017.
£199 mid rate paid in full by May 1st. £229 after this date.
If you do not have a vehicle it may be possible to offer a railway pick up and drop off in Berwick Upon Tweed. You are responsible for securing overnight accommodations. Suggestions are to stay on the mainland between Lindisfarne and Beadnell. Avoid staying on Holy Isle because of crossing times! This is payable directly into Andrew’s bank account via xoom or bank transfer, or by cheque or postal sent to Andrew Steed 8 Durham Terrace Lower Largo Fife KY8 6DS Scotland.
For PayPal there is a 5% charge to cover fees.
